PCA employees farewelled well-known colleague Kevin Norman at a morning tea held at the company's Kingaroy offices today.

Kevin - a former agronomist, Technical Manager and Peanut Business Group General Manager - had been at PCA for 17 years.

He joined the company in 1992 as Principal Agronomist at PCA's Tolga plant in North Queensland.

After shifting to Kingaroy, Kevin became more involved in the technical side of the business.

His role covered all aspects of PCA's technical program including overseeing the laboratory and quality programs, keeping customers abreast of latest research outcomes, introducing new varieties and systems development.

Prior to joining PCA, Kevin was employed by the Department of Primary Industries in Atherton.

He has spent a total of 25 years in the peanut industry.
