General Manager Breeding & Crops

Graeme is responsible for the introduction, breeding and evaluation of new peanut varieties with improved quality, disease resistance and yield performance throughout Australian production areas. He also co-ordinates applied R&D for other crops of interest to PCA, including maize, potatoes and sesame in collaboration with other R&D providers across the country.

Business Analyst
- Lionel Wieck B.Bus. (Accounting), CPA, Registered Tax Agent
Lionel has been involved in agribusiness enterprises with a turnover from $20 million to $120 million for 25 years at middle and senior management levels. He has been at PCA since 1986 in Finance and Farming Services management roles. His current role specialises in purchasing contracts, logistics support (contract planting and harvesting services) and financial accounting.

Seed Agronomist
- Grant Baker B.Ag.
Grant has a major role with PCA's Pure Seed program and all things to do with seeds - maintenance of the peanut gene pool, peanut variety evaluations and introducing new varieties. He also provides general agronomic advice, assists with harvesting operations (as part of PCA's contracting obligations), attends grower meetings. Grant is ready to assist new and potential growers where possible in a bid to extend the peanut industry.

North Queensland Agronomist
- Bart Larard B.Sc (UQ), B.Ed (JCU)
Bart provides agronomic advice to new and existing growers in North Queensland, co-ordinates contract planting and harvesting operations and assists in the Pure Seed program. He is responsible for grower feedback, liaison and support in the Far North. Bart can be contacted on 0408-775-551.
