Peter Hatfield
Independent agronomist Peter Hatfield works closely with PCA to provide an advisory service to the Australian peanut industry.

Peter, (pictured at right with Bundaberg grower Neville Loeskow) can provide agricultural advice as well as assistance with business, marketing and strategic development for peanut growers

His service includes:
  • Pre-season consultation with growers regarding soil suitability and feasibility studies

  • Pre-season management plan development, ie site selection, irrigation, ground preparation, nutrition, varietal selection, marketing arrangements

  • In-crop scouting, monitoring, recommendations and husbandry advice

  • Arranging contract harvesting

  • End-of-season performance reports

Fees are based on the type of advice required and the area under production
